Day 1: New Moon Intention Setting Guide

Welcome to Day 1 of our 30 Day Spiritual Cleanse & Clearing Journey!

Today, we’ll harness the powerful energy of the New Moon to set clear and focused intentions for the next 30 days.
The New Moon is a time of new beginnings, making it the perfect moment to reflect on what you want to manifest and achieve.

Materials Needed:

Journal and pen
Candle (preferably white or any color that resonates with you)
Lighter or matches
Crystals (optional, such as clear quartz, amethyst, or any that align with your intentions)
Sage, palo santo, or incense for cleansing
Comfortable seating area
Soft background music (optional)
Steps

1. Prepare Your Space

Find a quiet, comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed.
Cleanse the space by burning sage, palo santo, or incense, allowing the smoke to purify the area.
Set up your candle, journal, pen, and any crystals you wish to use.
Play soft, calming music if it helps you relax.

2. Center Yourself

Sit comfortably and close your eyes.
Take several deep breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
Allow any tension or stress to melt away with each breath.

3. Light the Candle

Light the candle and place it in front of you.
As you do, say a simple invocation or prayer, such as:
“I light this candle to invite the energies of the New Moon. May its light guide me in setting clear and powerful intentions for the coming month.”

4. Reflect on Your Intentions

Open your journal and take a few moments to reflect on what you wish to manifest, change, or achieve in the next 30 days.
Consider all areas of your life: personal growth, relationships, career, health, and spiritual development.

Use the following questions for self-reflection:

  • What areas of my life feel out of balance or in need of attention?
  • What habits or patterns do I want to release?
  • What new habits or practices do I want to cultivate?
  • How do I want to feel at the end of these 30 days?
  • What specific goals do I want to achieve?
  • How can I align my actions with my highest self?

5. Write Down Your Intentions

Begin writing your intentions in your journal. Be specific and positive, phrasing your intentions as if they are already happening.
For example, instead of writing “I want to be healthier,” write “I am embracing a healthy lifestyle with nourishing foods and regular exercise.” List at least 3-5 intentions that resonate deeply with you.

6. Visualize Your Intentions

Close your eyes and visualize each intention as if it is already manifested.
Imagine how it feels, looks, and impacts your life. Feel the joy, peace, and fulfillment it brings.
Spend a few minutes immersing yourself in this visualization.

7. Affirm Your Intentions

Read each intention out loud with confidence and belief.
You can use affirmations such as:
“I am worthy of my desires. I trust the universe to bring my intentions to fruition. I am open to receive all that is for my highest good.”

8. Seal Your Intentions

Hold your hands over your heart or place them on your crystals if using.
Take a few deep breaths, feeling your intentions being sealed and sent out into the universe.

9. Gratitude and Closing

Express gratitude for the New Moon’s energy and for the opportunity to set your intentions.
Extinguish the candle, knowing that its energy continues to support your intentions.

Say a closing affirmation or prayer, such as:
“I am grateful for the guidance and support of the universe. My intentions are set and will manifest in perfect timing.”

10. Keep Your Journal Close
– Place your journal somewhere accessible and revisit your intentions regularly.
– Reflect on your progress and adjust your actions as needed to stay aligned with your goals.
